I caught the train up to Brisbane for an interview on Tuesday. I felt like an anxious country girl, turning and swirling about at Central Station, asking the hurried, suited workers for directions. I miss the city... Not necessarily Brisbane, because it is quite foreign to me. But Sydney, I miss you. I miss your food, culture, bustling activity and your beauty.
Instead, we're living in suburbia, in a big glitzy coastal tourist town. We've been here about six years and we still don't feel like we belong here.
